Between 1903 and 1940, you could collect pictures by purchasing Verkade products and paste them into special albums.
Verkade released a total of 30 different albums. These albums were so popular that Verkade released a total of approximately 3.2 million. In a record year, 30 million individual records were sold.
The Second World War brought an end to these Verkade albums. In 1975, the seasonal albums Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter were reissued.
