Collection: Vintage collectible cards

At the beginning of the previous century, it was a huge craze to collect pictures. Well-known companies of cookies, rusks and coffee such as Verkade and also Albert Heijn or film companies released albums in which pictures could be pasted. These pictures were included with products such as cookies and rusks and could be requested or exchanged with order forms.

For example, Verkade has released a new album almost every year since 1903. Each time with a new theme, usually something about nature and animals. But also other themes such as bike rides through the country, children's stories or even traffic training.

In addition to theVerkade albums and other picture albums, I also have a collection of other types of loose collectible pictures without an album.

A real pleasure to look at or use for all kinds of creative projects such as art journaling, scrapbooking, ephemera, junk journal and snail mail.
