Collection: Vintage collectible cards

At the beginning of the last century, collecting picture cards was all the rage. Well-known biscuit, rusk, and coffee companies like Verkade, Albert Heijn, and film companies published albums filled with picture cards. These cards were included with products like biscuits and rusks and could be requested or exchanged using order forms.

For example, Verkade has released a new album almost every year since 1903. Each one has a new theme, usually something about nature and animals. But other themes also include bike rides through the countryside, children's stories, or even traffic training.

In addition to the Verkade albums and other picture albums I also have a collection of other types of loose collector's cards without an album.

A real pleasure to look at or use for all kinds of creative projects such as art journaling, scrapbooking, ephemera, junk journal and snail mail.
