These beautiful photo cards come from the period 1850-1914. During that period, these cardboard business cards were often issued with (family) portraits. The back often also looked beautiful with Victorian texts and the photographer's logo. These Carte de visite were often given away to friends and relatives. Photos of the royal family were also collected. Because the year was almost never put on them, it is difficult to find out what year they come from, but it would be around the year 1900.
