Between 1903 and 1940 you could collect pictures by buying Verkade products and you could stick them in special albums. The Second World War put an end to these Verkade albums.
This plate is from the album 'Vetplanten' by Verkade from 1932.
The plate is beautifully painted and the description is (partly) legible on the back. Sometimes the back is damaged because the plate was originally glued in.
You can choose to order the plate separately or in a white or black passe-partout. Both passe-partouts have a white inner border.
Plate size: 8.5x19.7 cm
Passe-partout dimensions: 20x25 cm
