Beautiful antique carte de visite from the period 1850-1914. These photo cards on cardboard were very popular from the mid-19th century until the First World War. The cardboard cards are usually 6.5x10 cm with the albumen photo and the name of the photographer on the front and the photographer's logo on the back. Over the years, these logos were decorated with beautiful Victorian characters and became a kind of advertisement.
