Between 1903 and 1940, you could collect pictures by purchasing Verkade products and paste them into special albums. These Verkade albums came to an end during World War II.

This special album from 1912 is one of the first albums produced after the seasonal albums.

The album was written by Jac. P. Thijsse, and the illustrations were painted by LWR Wenckebach, Jan Voerman Jr., and Jan van Oort.

Considering its age, the album is in very good condition. All the pictures are complete. The cover is still in very good condition and is not torn. The linen side cover is also in good condition. The ears are also still firmly attached.
