Autumn Verkade Picture Album 1910
Autumn Verkade Picture Album 1910
1 in stock
Between 1903 and 1940, you could collect pictures by purchasing Verkade products and paste them into special albums. These Verkade albums came to an end during World War II.
This rare album from 1910 is one of the first albums produced and contains images of plants and flowers in autumn.
After the seasonal albums, Verkade began releasing a whole series of mass-produced albums. This album is one of the rarest and most valuable.
The album was written by Jac. P. Thijsse, and the illustrations were painted by W.R. Wenckebach, Jan van Oort, and Jan Voerman Jr.
The album has some wear due to its age. Some pages are loose, and a corner is missing from the top right corner of the cover. There are some blue marker lines on the cover. Otherwise, the album is complete, and all the pictures are in good condition.
