Given its age and the fact that the first three Verkade albums were made of relatively low-quality paper, the album has some damage, as can be seen in the photos. All pages are still in the album and are not completely detached. The side cover is in poor condition. The name Louis is written in cursive on the front cover. The back cover has paper damage in the corners. The picture pages, however, are in good condition.
