Given its age and the fact that the first three Verkade albums were made of relatively low-quality paper, the album has some damage, as can be seen in the photos. All pages are still in the album and attached. The side cover is in very good condition, and the lettering is clearly legible. The corners of the album are in very good condition, except for some minor paper damage. The original owner scratched into the album with a pencil and added captions to the illustrations. Due to the age of these captions, they are difficult to erase, but certainly not distracting.
