This very rare collector's picture album was released by NV Koffie- en theehandel formerly O. de Wilsjes in Stadskanaal in 1939. It is a sequel to the album "Oranje-Vreugde". Like many companies, they decided to issue collectible cards with their products so that consumers could collect them in an album. Verkade is another well-known example of this.
This album, which contains all the photos, is about the Dutch royal family from Wilhelmina's fortieth anniversary to the marriage between Juliana and Bernard and the birth of Beatrix.
The album is 23x29 cm.
Due to age, there may be discolouration in the paper and here and there a tear or minor damage, but this should certainly not spoil the fun of admiring and reading this album.
Not only is this album beautiful to read but it is also great to use for all kinds of creative projects such as art journaling, scrapbooking, ephemera, junk journal and snail mail.
