This is an original wood engraving drawn and designed by Gustave Doré and engraved by Ad Ligny. The engraving is from 1875 and was part of a stately Bible 'De Bijbelsche Geschiedenis' for the Catholic Dutch People. The Bible was printed by Henri Bogaerts (successor of PN Verhoeven), printer and bookseller of His Holiness Pope Pius IX. The page has a size of 25x32.5 cm. You can choose to order the engraving separately or in a white or black passe-partout. Both passe-partouts have a white inner border and have the size 30x35 cm.
