Between 1903 and 1940, you could collect pictures by purchasing Verkade products and paste them into special albums.
In total, Verkade released 30 different albums. The albums were so popular that Verkade released a total of 3.2 million. In a record year, 30 million individual records were sold.
The Second World War put an end to these Verkade albums.
